The Newport Afghan is a timeless heirloom blanket that can be passed down through the generations. The Shell variation is detailed throughout the stitch work, to create a lovely motif. I have fond memories of my family vacations to Newport, Oregon has stayed with me to this day, and hold a special place in my heart.

The pattern comes in three sizes from a newborn blanket to a small throw blanket. The sample shown is in the size 32″ x 39″, which is included in the pattern. There are also border instructions with a customizable stitch sequence.

This is an intermediate/ advanced crochet pattern that provides step-by-step instructions. An adventurous beginner is more than welcome to try this lovely pattern as well.
